Wag na wag kayong bibitaw dahil hindi lng isa kundi dalawang napakalaki pong pasabog ang ibabalita ko sa inyo! Ano ang mga ito? Basa na nang malaman nyo!

King of the Hill: Reloaded

Tama po ang nabasa ninyo mga frenships! Muling nagbabalik ang astiging bakbakan ng mga ultimate mamaw ng RAN Online. Kung last year ay ang mga level cap players lamang ang pwedeng sumali…abah! Don’t be sad and teary-eyed mga RANatics dahil ibang-iba na po ang mechanics na inihanda ng e-Games para sa event na ito.

Ayon po sa aking nasagap na information, mahahati sa tatlong league/division ang King of the Hill ngayon. Yan ay ang Extreme Class League (level 100-150), Junior Division (level 100-157) at ang Senior Division (level 158-210), kung saan ang 2nd and 3rd divisions po ay para sa mga normal characters. O diba?! Bonggang-bongga mga refafifz, dahil lahat kayo ay pwedeng sumali! Ipamalas na ang inyong mamaw powers kahit anong level ka pa! ‘Ika nga nila, all’s fair in love and war.

Ito pa mga ka-tropa—knockout system ang laban at duel type ang bawat match, kaya ipakita mo na sa sangkatauhan ang iyong galing at diskarte sa pakikipag-duel. Best of 3 ang mananalo during eliminations, 5 rounds during semi-finals at 7 rounds naman during finals.

One representative per guild lamang ang pwedeng sumali and take note na once nakasali ka na, hindi ka pwedeng mag-change name or mag-change ng guild. Stick to one po muna, di pwede gang-hopper. Hehehe.  During the fight you can use any consumable item. Ano yun kamo? EP pots, PUM boxes or Destiny Boxes. Pwede rin ang mga items na galing sa Event Shop or Item Shop. Pwede nyo din gamitin ang mga items na napanalunan nyo from any in-game event.

May schedule po ang bawat laban kaya bawal ang late, mga kapatid! Bawal ang malamya, makupad at mahilig umabsent dahil kapag na-late kayo ng 15mins or hindi kayo sumipot, automatic disqualified na kayo sa laro. Sayang naman ang bonggang bonggang preparations diba?

Conqueror’s Path: Ang Ikalimang Yugto

Yes, yes, yow! Nandito na naman ulit ang hinihintay ang pinaka-a-abangan ng bawat guild sa RAN Online—ang Conqueror’s Path: Chapter 5. Naging big success ang bawat CP na nangyari for the past years kaya naman heto at muling nagbabalik ang bakbakan at sagupaan ng mga astiging gangs for each server.

No need to register na po mga RANatics! Once nag-start na officially ang CP5, nasa gang na ang diskarte at strategy kung paano at anong e-room ang sasakupin nila. There will only be 2 alliances allowed for each guild. Each e-room ay may kaukulang puntos pero heto ang exciting dyan…mas malaking puntos pag ang nasakop ninyo ay ang Golden e-room for the night! As usual, ang guilds na may pinaka-maraming nalikom na points ang tatanghaling champion, 2nd runner up at 3rd runner up. Magtatagal po ang CP5 ng tatlong buwan kaya dapat active kayo lagi at go ng go sa pagsakop. Magsisimula ito sa July 8 until September 2009.

Players of the acclaimed Triple-A MMORPG, Granado Espada, trooped to the SM Megamall last June 13 to 14 to attend the 8th Toy Convention event, where e-Games staged an event for its avid gamers.

e-Games prepared the  Master’s Tournament, one of the main highlights of the Toycon event wherein Elite Le Blanc and Serpent Weapons were up for grabs.

A total of sixteen (16) GE players participated in two separate tournaments.  Players got to choose their line-up of MCC characters which they have to use throughout the entire contest.

Most of the participants used the famous PVP line-up of the Wizard, Elementalist and Scout. But  players  Solferino, Fiksdotter, Strawwhatss, Yttria decided to go against the grain and opted to use the Fighter, Elementalist, Scout, while Santoss chose the Musketeer, Elementalist, Scout, and vondevilIe with Emilia the Sage, Elementalist and Scout.

The elimination round was indeed action-packed. GE Players went all out employing the best strategies to cast deadly skills. However, only two participants with different line-ups succeeded to make it to the semi-finals.  It goes to show that magic can truly win battles.

The results of the tournament goes to show that the tried and tested line-up of the Wizard, Elementalist and Scout rule in obliterating opponents. Coupled with experience, tactics and carefully executed skills, these players demonstrated how to achieve victory in the battlefield.

Congratulations, everyone! Until the next GE event!

Filipino Pioneers, and other gamer nationalities such as Malaysians and Singaporeans, celebrated the Independence Day of the Philippines last June 12, 2009 in the virtual New World of Granado Espada. The fireworks mini-event was held at the City of Auch, Channel 1, at the Provisional Office, Rembrandt server. During this 30 minute celebration, families from various factions  and faction-less players alike, assembled at the venue, with fireworks on hand, and posing skills on the other.

The mini-event, originally planned to be just a fireworks gathering of sorts, turned out to be a huge success! The attendees decided to make a human “PH” on the grounds of the City of Auch, and everyone cooperated well. Led by Rembrandt’s PH Community Crews, including yours truly, players formed the huge PH letters by using their GE characters!

GE Families executed their own  fireworks displays during the said formation but not everyone was able to do so because supplies ran out.

Nonetheless, the gathering was a complete success! Players then deluged the server as they spammed broadcasts greeting every Filipino online a Happy Independence Day.

Pinoys, Singaporeans & Malaysians alike light up Auch.

It is in these times like these when GE’s Philippine players felt all the more proud and united in a virtual world that has brought them all together.

Nag-hold po ng in-game event ang ating mga nag-gugwapuhang GMs na sina Vrael, Chromium at Raven, ang Mamaw sa Tag-araw: Suryun Boss Rush Mode Event! Take note mga ka-tropa dahil hindi lang ang mga mamaw bosses ng Suryun ang lumitaw sa event na ito kundi pati ang mga bakulaw characters! Korek po kayo sa nabasa niyo! Do you want some proof? Well, tignan nyo na lang ang screenshot na ito…

O kita niyo naman naglipana ang mga naka level 195 set!

Nang i-announce ng mga GMs na gaganapin ang Suryun Event na ‘to sa Sports Field ng mga school campuses, agad nagsilipatan ng channels ang mga sumali sa CW at naghanda ng kanya-kanyang PUM at party para sa isang umaatikabong bakbakan! Talaga naman pong sikat sila GMs Vrael, Raven at Chromium dahil dinumog agad sila ng ating mga players… dinumog ng tanong! Meron din namang mga nagpapa-greet at meron din namang nakiki-usyoso lang.

Maya-maya pa’y nagsimula na ang ultimate bakbakan ng mga players laban sa Suryun Bosses. Kanya-kanyang lure ng mobs at kaladkaran sa kanilang respective spots ang mga players! Lahat ng skills na meron sila ay ginamit na nila para lang dumafa ang mga nagfafanetang bosses na itech. Pero out of the blue ay ganito na lang bigla ang nangyari.

Ay! Ano ba yan Fafa GM… lumaki bigla ulo namin, nawala pati poise. Kita nyo naman feel na feel ng DAM ang kanyang long hair. Nagpa-rebond pa ata talaga para sa event na ito!

Talagang mapapa-oh em gee ka sa laki ng weapons at ulo ng mga mobs! ‘Di lang ‘yan, mga ka-tropa! Pati weapons ng ating mga players ay nagsilakihan din! Takutan ‘ata ‘to at palakihan ng weapons at ulo, hindi Suryun! Pati ang mga pets na Turtle, Tiger, Ranny Bear at Siberian Husky natin ay nagmistulang mobs na ‘din sa laki ng size nila!

Pero kahit ganito na ang nangyayari sa kanilang mga itsura, wala pa ‘din pakialam ang ating mga RANadeks na tuloy pa ‘din sa pag-kill at pagbato ng mga skills. Kahit naman sino ay ganun ang gagawin dahil once napatay mo ang mga fanet na mobs na ito ay sangkaterbang items naman ang mapupulot mo. O, ‘di ba bonggang-bongga to the max level ang Suryun na ito?! Bukod pa sa mga refines ay may mga rare weapons and armors din na nalalaglag once napatay mo sila!

Ang Suryun Boss Rush Mode ay gaganapin sa lahat ng servers randomly, araw-araw, mula Monday hanggang Sunday! Ang Suryun at Boss monsters ay tatawagin sa Sacred Gate, Mystic Peak at Phoenix Campus Sports Field sa channel 1 ng bawat server. Kaya naman sumali na sa umaatikabong Mamaw sa Tag-araw: Suryun Boss Rush Mode! Rumaragasang NK, CJ, DAM at iba pang bosses ang naghihintay sa inyo! Tawagin na ang guild mates at ang mga frenships at patunayan ang inyong mamawness ability sa exciting Boss Rush Event na ito!

Wazzup, RANbayan? Andito na naman ako, ang inyong official RAN Correspondent to bring the latest buzz at chika sa pinakamamahal nating virtual world of RAN! Yes friendships, super arangkada na naman ang lola nyo para magbalik-tanaw sa mga kaganapan sa nagdaang Domination III event na naganap sa SMX Convention last April 4.

Nako, I am ever so sure na just like me, marami din sa ating mga e-Gamers ang meron pa ring hangover sa nagdaang event. Pano ba naman, bonggang-bongga ang mga hinandang pakulo at sorpresa ng e-Games para sa lahat ng dumalo sa kanilang ikatlong anibersaryo. Not to mention ang mga Grand EB with friends and co-gamers with matching in person meet-ups with the artistahing GMs and CMs.

Bilang inyong official Correspondent, inusisa kong mabuti ang mga naganap sa RAN booth at nagtanung-tanong na rin ng mga RAN players na nagpunta. Heto ang naging resulta ng pagiging chismosa, este, ng pang-uusisa ko sa mga eklavung naganap…

Syempre umaga pa lang, mega busy na sina CM Hanya, GM Asuerio at iba pang e-Games staff para sa registration at pag-facilitate ng mga tournaments na dinaluhan naman ng RAN players from all servers. Mayroon ding mga naganap na palaro, raffle at auction na kung saan samu’t-saring nakakalaway na rare items ang pinaglabanan. At dahil sa sunod-sunod ang mga kaganapan, of course ever ready ang inyong mga naggagandahang (oops…bawal umangal) RAN Correspondents para i-cover ang bawat pangyayari sa mga naganap na activities.

At sino ba naman ang hindi makaka-pansin sa booths ng ilan sa mga gangs mula sa iba’t-ibang servers? Naging official tambayan na rin iyon ng mga guild members kung saan nagkakilala na sila ng personalan.

Ilan sa nakaagaw ng aking pansin ay ang mga early birds sa booths ng TEAM_RESU, Genesis, at Strongfire ng Strife Server. Wala man silang booth, nagkumpulan naman sa gitna at hindi nagpahuli ang mga members ng YIN-YANG gang na syang champions ng Conqueror’s Path 4.

Nakatawag din ng pansin ang isang gang mula sa Alab Server na maaring magpatunay na kahit sino ay maaring maglaro ng RAN. Sila ay ang Freedom gang. Kakaiba talaga ang grupong ito dahil for the first time, dito lamang ako nakakita ng gang na may mga myembrong stock brokers, mag nanay, dating mga OFWs at would you believe, isang PARI? Oops pero bago mag-react ang mga religious people in da haws, naging active lamang si Father sa paglalaro noong sya ay seminarista pa lamang, at pinasa na lang ang kanyang level 200 Swordie sa kanyang mga pamangkin noong sya ay na-ordain na.  Ngayon, nakikidalo at nakikisali na lang siya sa kanyang mga gang members kapag may mga ganitong pagkakataon tulad ng mga meet-ups at live events. Astig diba?

Of course hindi naman magpapahuli ang ilan sa mga halo-halong players from Wrath Server na nakatambay malapit sa tourney area. Sa labas naman parang mayroong live re-grouping ang ilan sa mga tenured and veteran players from Strife.

Game na game rin ang mga CMs, GMs at e-Games staff sa pagpapa-picture with the players, pati na rin ang mga cosplayers. Tumugtog din ang ilang mga banda kagaya ng Sandwich na lalong nagpainit at nagpasigla sa mga e-Gamers. Bawat game booth ay may kanya-kanyang mga activities, kaya naman wala talagang mapagsisidlan ang boredom at pure enjoyment lang ang nadama ng lahat ng dumalo!

At the end of the day, pagod man at halos maubos ang lakas, sulit na sulit naman ang Domination III experience ng bawat isa. Bonus na ngang maituturing ang umaapaw na freebies kung iisipin kung gaano ka-astig at kasaya ang nagdaang araw. Parang isang malaking pamilya na nag-celebrate ang lahat. Panandaliang kinalimutan ang alitan lalo na sa mga gangs at players para ipagbunyi ang minsan lamang sa isang taon na kaganapang ito.

At syempre, dahil sa magandang outcome ng event, I’m sure lahat tayo ay masugid na aabangan ang susunod na Domination next year! Kaya naman kita-kits uli! Happy e-Gaming!

Domination 3 is coming up and I am already excited! This year is bound to be amazing because I am already hearing so many good things about Domination 3. I believe this year will be much better than last year! One reason for that is because this upcoming Domination event will be my first real immersion into the Granado Espada community.

Last year’s Domination event was a blast! I had so much fun with my friends, though I wasn’t into much of the games back then. I was playing RAN Online then together with Granado Espada, but I wasn’t much of a community person. Even so, I was observant, and I remember the events that happened. For my favorite game, Granado Espada, there were tons of activities. The notable ones were the awarding of players who made fantastic films related to the game (Fantazzztic Film Awards) and honoring of the most devoted players as nominated by the players themselves. There was also the PVP Tourney and no one wanted to miss that one.

Again, as I was not into the game back then, I enjoyed most of my time with my friends. I was into cosplaying, rock bands, singing Japanese songs for anime fans like myself and wearing school girl costumes. For this year, I am expecting much from this latest Domination event. Almost everyone that I have planned to meet is either a GE player or a GE community devotee (or both). There are also people who want to meet me so they can put a face behind the name “Patronum”. My real-life friends and also my GE friends who I have met before will also be there. I am expecting to meet new people and make new friends and have so much fun on this day especially now that I am so into the game. I really hope that GE would attract the interest that it deserves on Domination 3, for I know that it deserves more attention than what it’s getting now.

SMX was packed with e-Gamers!

Last April 6, 2008 e-Games celebrated its 2nd anniversary at SMX Convention Center. The second Domination proved to be quite successful, judging from the huge crowd that trooped to the venue to enjoy the day with their fellow gamers. As early as 10AM, e-Gamers already flocked to SMX, eager to join the festivities and to take part in contests and activities.

At the Granado Espada booth, players from various servers gathered and brought their Faction banners as a show of presence. Regional Community Manager, Hrin Kuek, one of the event’s guests of honor, hosted a contest whereby the Faction with the loudest cheer (with their banners) will win special prizes. This got the community thrilled, and pretty soon, the booth was filled with enthusiastic gamers cheering for their respective guilds.

Former PH CM Veya conducted tournaments, games and raffles, as well as gave recognition the GE PH Community Heroes for their valiant efforts in keeping the community spirit alive. Perhaps one of the noteworthy events that happened was the acknowledgment and awarding of the grand winners of the Fantazztic Film Awards 2007. The Philippines made a great sweep of all the top prizes for the said contest, making the event extra special for the local community.

GE cosplayers also spiced up the festivities as gamers saw characters brought to life by the artistry and creativity of these cosplayers.

It was certainly a great experience for the GE PH gamers to have one event that brought them all together. I certainly commend the organizers of Domination II for making it a huge success and I hope to see that Domination III will be grander than ever. I likewise have high hopes for the new GE PH Community Manager, Aethrin, to surpass former CM Veya’s achievements.

This year’s Domination III is definitely THE one event that all GE gamers are looking forward to, as they have a great opportunity to meet their online friends in real life. Great news RAN Bayan! Ang pinaka-aabangan niyong Extreme Class ay narito na! Korek kayo dyan mga katropa! Kaya naman basahin niyo na para malaman niyo ang pinaka-latest at pinaka-mainit na info tungkol sa eksayting na Episode 6: Extreme Class.

Sureness ako na unang papasok na tanong sa inyo ay kung papaano ang pag-create ng mga astiging karakters na itech. Very easy po mga RANatics! Dapat ay nakarating kayo sa level 195 pataas para makuha ninyo ang Extreme Class quest, after niyong makipag-bakbakan at magpakahirap para matapos ang quest na ito, bibigyan kayo ng Extreme Class character card bilang premyo. O diba napakadali?! Yakang-yaka ito ng mga powers niyo. Ngayon pwedeng pwede na kayong gumawa ng karakter na may dual class skill, o hybrid kumbaga.

Ano ba ang ikinaganda ng mga karakter na itech? Dahil sa kanilang kasipagan at dedikasyon ay narating nila ang tinatawag nating supremacy level, meaning super duper malakas talaga sila dahil naiiba ang kanilang powers kaysa sa normal class. Kasi po mga frenships, kapag gumawa kayo ng Extreme Class, pwedeng-pwede kayong gumamit ng dalawang sandata or weapon sa iisang karakter lamang.

Korek na korek po ang nabasa nyo mga katropa! Pwede niyong pagsabayin ang alinman sa gauntlets, swords or blades, bows and spears or wands sa iisang char lamang. O talaga namang bonggang-bongga at sikat ang beauty ng mga karakter ninyo. Ito po ang aming patikim kung anong mga astiging weapons ang dapat abangan mga katropang RAN.

Talaga namang magsisitakbuhan ang mga kalaban mo pag nakita nilang bitbit mo ang mga astiging weapons na ito. Mamaw na mamaw ang karakter niyo. Mapapa-oye ka to the maximum level!

Wait a minute RAN pipz! Hindi pa ako tapos para sa mga hottest information para sa inyong lahat. Kung may mga astiging weapons tayo aba’y hindi mawawala ang mga pang pormang armors na magpapakunat at magpapatingkad sa beauty ng mga Extreme Class characters ninyo. Ang super eksayting po dito ay hindi lang siya parang ordinaryong armor lamang. Pwedeng-pwede mo siyang i-mix and match para pang-japorms at pang-rampa! May pang-porma na naman ang mga beauties and hunks in-game! Basahin nyo na lang ang fashionista commentary ng aking co-Correspondent na si Krizantie!

Gosh…ang hirap magpaganda lalo na kung tulad mo ako na always on da lookout for the super fashionable costumes sa balat ng RAN. Minabuti ko na lang na konsultahin ang kapwa ko RANachic na si Mami Vesteria para tulungan ako sa aking fashion problems.

Since nabalitaan ko na madalas syang tumatambay sa opisina ng Headmaster, minabuti ko nang puntahan sya doon. Malas nga lang at mukhang nagka-salisi kami ni Vesteria, pero meron akong napansing magazine kaya naman na-curious ako na bulatlatin itech.

Sinimulan kong i-browse ang magazine at napanganga akech! I started wondering tuloy kung saan ba ito pwedeng bilhin. Tinignan ko kung anu yung pangalan ng magazine. Aba! Hindi naman pala ito magazine. Isa pala itong catalogue ng mga bagong Extreme Class armors para sa Episode 6.  Talaga namang nakakaloka itech dahil pang-boylalu at gerlalu ang mga naturang armors! Hankyut! Pwede pala kami mag-fashion partner eklavu ng lalabz ko!

Kaya naman mga kapwa ko fashionistas sa RAN, hayaan nyo akong magbigay komento sa mga super cute at astiging armors na itech!

Da  Peek-a-boo look

Sexy na sexy ang dating ng mga hot mamas at papabols natin sa sporty red and blue armor na ginawang kakaiba sa peek-a-boo na itech. Tignan niyo naman…nakaka-“gulat me” ang shorts ng mga female characters habang mach gwapito naman ang hapit look sabay hallu da pectorals naman ang mga kafafahan! Sabi nga nila, a little show of skin won’t hurt.

Martian Rockstar

Pagkakaguluhan naman ang mga mag-susuot ng outfit na itech. O davaa? Rakista ang arayb ninyo sa kasuotang ito! Kulang na nga lang ng gitara at mic at pwede na mag-concert ang mga lolo’t lola mo.  Tiyak na kitang-kita kayo sa stage! Ingat lang sa mga toro etchos at baka ma-suwag kayo. Hihihi! Jowk!

Third: Eartherial Beauty

Naku, pag suot ninyo ang get-up na itech eh bonggang-bongga ang pakikipag-warlah nyo tuwing CW or PK mode! O diba, parang military na military ang arayb! Swak na swak pa sa pang-ambush ng mga mobs. Ito ang aking peborit na attire kasi ang kyut nang pang-female! Sosyalin ang moss green na leg warmers with matching blue ribbon na ka-etchosan! Ang tarush! Katulis-tulis naman ang papabol version ng armor na itech kaya naman por syur eh dudumugin ng mga gerls at nagpapanggap na gerls ang mga kafafahan natin!

Fourth: Romanian Warrior

Itong next na japorms armor set na ito ay may pagkaka-hawig sa nauna kong idinescribe sa inyo, yun lang, nakakasilaw sa kulay ginto ang drama naman ng set na ito! Nakakalurkey ang mala-plus 9 na kinang nitech! Ternuhan mo pa ng hairdress sa promo item sa Event Shop at ewan ko na lang  kung hindi ka ba naman tawaging Diyosa na bumaba sa lupa. At kung medyo nakukulangan ka na ng pangpots, ibenta mo na lang ung isa sa mga ruby gems sa armor mo at tiba-tiba ka na!

Fifth: Casual but Deadly

Protection, style and convenience. Three words to describe this armor set. Itong suit na ito ay magaan dalhin pero umaariba naman ang proteksyon na binibigay sa nagsusuot nito lalo na sa mga UDs at higad ng PTZ. With matching belt pa yan para siguradong hindi malalaglag ang pants. Astig diba?. Hindi n natin kelangan bumili ng costume. Armors pa lang, pang-porma na.^_^

At kung tatanungin ninyo kung meron specific classes yan. Ito na ang goodnews! These are all available for ALL CLASSES. So shamans pwede na tayong magpants. At ang mga archers pwede nang magwear ng skirt armors.

Ito pa! Nabasa ko din sa magasin na ito na may mga bagong hairstyles at faces na ilalabas. Oha! San ka pa?

Hello! My name is MetalBunny and as an official correspondent, I am here to report about online games from e-Games. First on our list is their latest MMORPG, ZX Online

ZX Online is e-Games’ first foray into localizing a Chinese MMORPG. I admit that I am not that familiar with the specifics of the game, but I can say that ZX Online is one of the first games that I played which realized its theme: Journey to Immortality. In ZX Online, the possibilities provided to its players are limitless and one can be anything he or she wants, including being immortalized in this vast, virtual world.

Features

What makes ZX Online unique? Let’s see…

• An Item Upgrade System that gives the chance to add features to your character ( e.g. added resistance to spells, increased dodge rate, etc) that doesn’t need item slots.

• A Talisman System, which automatically provides attributes or skills to your character and when activated, can grant you a special buff or skill that your UFO(unmanned fighting object) can use until your talisman energy runs out. The Talisman itself grows as you grow and it can also be combined with other talismans to make a better one.

• A MASSIVE skill tree accompanied by a smaller but equally important heavenly book that supports the skills acquired in the skill tree. This feature demands ingenuity and individuality because the skills you pick from both the skill tree and the heavenly book can ultimately determine your fate in ZX Online.

• Features for couples such as riding in the same mount, a marriage system that allows the couple to kiss using the intimate button, and a couple-system quest which gives EXP points to both parties

• An Auto-Pathing System (or 3D path-finding system) that gives you time to relax while your character walks to a faraway place.

• Quests that can be repeatedly done from the Quest Administrator NPC

• A Title System - certain quests can reward you a title for your character.

• A Realistic Fishing System - certain baits only work on specific fishing spots. You can get items needed in your other quests here.

• A Party System that not only shares items, but also shares Quest Accomplishments (For example, if me and my party member killed a quest monster, regardless of whoever gave the last hit, we share the kill point).

Why should you play it?

ZX Online is a game that can be played by everyone, from your little bro to your grandma. There’s something in ZX that will appeal to someone out there. Guys would love the thought of being in an adventure, while girls would be keen on the customization options for their characters. The game is also easy on kids since the interface is quite intuitive.

For a game that utilizes an “item shop”, ZX Online does offer reasonable prices for its items. Let’s not forget that ZX Online is a “free-to-play” game, so you’re not really required to buy items from the item shop (although it will make your life a whole lot easier). ZX Online gives you the power to choose how to spend your money, and these days, that power is something that’s not all that bad to have.

Hello Philippines! Hello RAN world! Mabuheey! Ito po ang inyong lingkod, si CuddlyBear, ang tagapag-hatid chizmax tungkol sa mga kaganapan sa CW sa ating ever beloved Havoc server!

At dahil ako ang inyong Correspondent sa Havoc server, eksayted din ako nang ihudyat ng system ang pag-umpisa ng CW kung saan kanya-kanyang takbuhan sa kanilang mga napiling e-rooms ang mga verifiers kasama ang kanilang mga members! Tayo na’t  subaybayan ang aksyon!

Phoenix E-room: Center of Attraction

Kung noong nakaraang CW eh ang MP e-room ang pinagkaguluhan, ngayon naman ay ang Phoenix e-room. In fairness, maloloka ka sa dami ng pumapasok; halos hindi na magkasya ang tao sa loob…kulang na lang magpalitan na ng mukha.

Kasalukuyang hawak ng `eMPire` ang naturang e-room pero maya-maya’y pumasok ang Ve-Vi-Vic gang sa pangunguna ng kanilang verifier na si aizean_25. Di nagtagal ay nagsipasukan na din ang LOotterzzz, _-MP-_, TrAnS4rTeR, vEngeAncE2, Happy_Hour, dOmInat8oN, bLaiZer`zz atbp. Lahat sila ay nagtangkang agawin ang naturang e-room pero di pa rin kinaya ng powers.

Bigla na lang akong nagulat nang iniwan na lamang ng `eMPire` ang e-room at lumipat sa Sacred Gate. Kaya naman lalong nagkagulo ang mga guilds na nasa loob…paunahan ang mga mamaw verifiers sa pag-insert ng CD sa MF. Maya-maya’y naki-join sa bakbakan nila ang PuniSher_1, _InVicTus_, DweLLers, PIETA`, `Hokage, AdVoCates, -SG- at GenErIoDaN. Kita nyo naman…andami nila! The more the merrier ‘ika nga.

Trading Hole and Mystic Peak E-room: Try and try until you succeed!

Habang nag-aagawan ang mga tao sa Phoenix e-room, puntahan naman natin ang TH at MP.

Nang mga panahong iyon, hawak ng D3miGodz ang TH kung saan hindi magkanda-ugaga si azeus2 sa pag-defend ng kanilang e-room mula sa super makukulit na invaders. Partikular ang `Hokage na lumipat ng TH matapos ng ilang failed attempts sa Phoenix, kaya talaga namang hindi nila tinantanan ang e-room na ito. Mukhang try and try until makasakop ang motto ng verifier nilang si _-aickee21-_. Andyan din ang ibang guild na nakiki-join sa kanilang labanan tulad ng BARkadaS, Caspian`s, VenOmanceR at `diAbLOs2`.

Pagkatapos ng madugong trial and error method sa pagsakop ay sa wakas nagtagumpay ang Caspian`s at bigla ding nawala ang `Hokage sa loob ng e-room.

Pero syempre habang papalapit ang ending ng CW, todo sa ariba mode ang lahat ng gangs na umaasang makasakop on da last minute.

Bisitahin naman natin ang Mystic Peak e-room na kasalukuyang dini-depensahan ng `infinity` gang. Pinag-aagawan din ang e-room na ito kaya todo karir sa pag-depensa ang mga tao. Ilan lang sa mga nagtangka na mapasakamay ang lugar na ito ay ang `Hokage, GrimReap3r, vEngeancE3 at AdVoCaTes na under kay okidoc97. Kaya pala nawala sa eksena ang `Hokage dahil dito naman sila nag-attempt sumakop sa MP!

Sacred Gate: Outnumbered

Ang huli nating silipin ay ang SG e-room na hawak ng TERMINATOR. Wala naman masyadong makukulit na pumapasok at nagtangkang sakupin ang lugar na ito, maliban sa AdVoCates under -=LaVoZky21=- na panaka-nakang pumapasok at nag attempt na mag-verify.

Maya maya’y pumasok ang GenErIoDaN, pero sa tingin ko ay sumilip lang si papa berzerkercake21 dahil hindi ito nagtangkang mag-verify at maya-maya’y umalis na din ng e-room kasama ang kanyang mga mumu members.

Nang nalalapit ng matapos ang CW ay bigla na lamang pumasok ang `eMPire`. Kaya pala nila iniwan ang kanilang e-room dahil nag-desisyon sila na ang SG naman ang sasakupin! Kaya naman isang mabigat at umaatikabong labanan ang nangyari between `eMPire` and TERMINATOR.

Napansin kong outnumbered ang T3, napatalsik ang ibang members sa mainframe, bagay na naging dahilan na madaling nakapag-verify agad si papa -Bytez- para mapalabas sa e-room ang napakulit na `eMPire`. Pero talagang hindi sumuko si papa `ELON`, at dahil dito ay tuluyang naagaw nila ang e-room mula sa TERMINATOR.

Until the system announced that Club Wars for Havoc has finally end, walang humpay ang pagsugod ng lahat ng mga gangs sa pag-asang makasakop man lang ng e-room. Tignan na natin ang resulta ng pinaghirapan ng ating mga kapwa RANatics kung nakasakop ba sila finally or bokya pa din.

e-Games and Globe held another 24-ever event at Samson Road, Caloocan City last February 28. Made possible with the help of g@net Café, JCI 1, JCI 2 & Bounty Café, Caloocan gamers were given an e-Game treat!

ZX Emissary and e-Games Correspondent, Shannel, talks about joining the prestigious group of “gamer writers” as well as his experience in meeting his fellow e-Gamers.

Last February 21 was a tiring day for me. After signing off from work at 8 AM, I went straight to the e-Games office in Makati to attend the Correspondents meeting. For those of you who aren’t familiar yet with the e-Games Correspondents, let me do the honor of explaining what this is all about.

The e-Games Correspondents is a program that enjoins the community to contribute articles such as reviews, features and event coverage for their game titles. I personally think it’s a whole new take on being a gamer. Besides playing the games we love, we also have the opportunity to become even more proactive by sharing our talents with the community!

Correspondents in a serious mood

The meeting started with the usual introductions from the other attendees who represented Audition, CABAL, Granado Espada and RAN Online. At first, people were a bit shy and timid to speak up, but after they started sharing their crazy and funny stories in-game, things started to get more relaxed and cozy.

e-Games’ Editors, Ms. Anne Plaza, Ms. Medz Menguito and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Emir Samonte, led the discussion as they have us a rundown of the guidelines, assignments and perks of being an e-Games Correspondent. We were also given the privilege of choosing the game we want to write about, and yours truly chose to be a Correspondent for ZX Online. Aside from choosing our preferred game, we were also encouraged to write about the other titles.

After discussing the guidelines, we went to the nitty gritty stuff of game feedbacks wherein we shared our in-game experiences and suggestions to further improve the games we love. Despite the serious topic, it became an opportunity for us to bond and to get to know each other even better.

A goody bag was given to everyone, which included an e-Games folder, notebook, ZX CD Installer and a RAN pin. Now that’s what you call generous!

The meeting lasted for several hours and everyone got hungry. Thankfully, Sir Emir treated us to a delicious McDonald’s meal!

The day ended with a crazy picture taking and more bonding moments with fellow Correspondents.

Aside from the thrill of seeing your online friends, joining tournaments, and getting freebies, there is one thing that also makes an e-Games event fun and exciting, and that is cosplay.

Cosplayers bring to life the characters that we would otherwise be seeing only in our computer screens. They add to the fun factor of gaming events, and they provide gamers with a sense of wonder on how they were able to create such fantastic pieces of art.

I recently met one particular e-Games cosplayer who bagged awards in almost all events, some of which include the e-Games Evolution, RAN Global Tournament, the Granado Espada launch, and in Domination 1 & 2.

If you’ve attended these events, chances are, you’d have seen the lone RAN Online cosplayer wearing a stylish armor and a heavy, but kick-ass looking sword. Let’s get to know more about this awesome e-Games cosplayer and how he has endeared the crowd not just with his costume, but with his amazing personality as well.

Tell us something about yourself.

Hi, my name is Christian Umali or “Umalizord”, as what people call me in the cosplay world. I’m 26 years old.  I’m a drawing artist, cosplayer, armor maker, internet café personnel, voice dubber, a friend, lover, fighter, ally, enemy, whatever. *laughs*

When did you start cosplaying?

My first cosplay was during high school in 1999 for the Computer Science Week. I actually won that contest. But my first major debut was during the e-Games Dom1nation last April 28, 2007 at Le Pavillion.

How did you find out about the e-Games Domination Cosplay Event?

A friend told me to join the cosplay event. At first, I was quite scared but he was able to convince me to join.

What can you say about the Cosplay Event in both Domi 1 and 2?

Based from my personal experience, the cosplay event was good and the audience was happy to see all these colorful costumes.

Do you make all the costumes and accessories by yourself?

Yes, I do.

Could you share the process of creating your costumes?

Well, before I make my costume, I research on it first. I study the character I will portray, the details and everything. Then I draw the concept and finally start working on it.

What are the skills and materials required in making cosplay costumes?

The primary materials that I use are rubber sheets that I cut to make the main parts of my costume. Then I put latex paint for primary coating. I use spray paint for the finishing touches. Materials and techniques aside, the greatest asset/skill that I use is “imagination”.

How much money and time do you devote to making your costumes?

My first costume was really cheap; I bought it from at an “ukay-ukay” store. My next costume was around Php 400 as I made the armor. My latest costume, which was the “hybrid form” of a Swordsman and Brawler (of RAN Online), costs around Php 1,200. It was pretty costly because I did a few upgrades to my old RAN costume. I wore that one during e-Games Domination II, which fortunately won the top prize.

What do you do to your costumes after the events?

I keep it, of course. Then I just keep on upgrading my costumes for future events.

What should we expect from last year’s cosplay champ this Domination III?

I’m going to wear three sets of armors this coming Domination III, so watch out for that! I want to defend my title of course. I’m not expecting anything, but I am looking forward to becoming a five-time e-Games Cosplay Champion.

Unahin natin ang Phoenix e-room na dating hawak ng `NOBLES (Px). Nagkaroon ng 1 on 1 battle ang gang ng `NOBLES (Px) at VG`eLiTe`(MP). Nagkaalaman kung sino sa kanila ang mas matikas at mas pogi! Sa bandang huli ay naagaw ng VG`eLiTe` (MP) ang Pheonix e-room.  Syempre, hindi pumayag ang sawing `NOBLES (Px) kaya abangan natin sa susunod na CW kung mababawi ng `NOBLES (Px) ang Phoenix e-room o magpapalit na lamang sila ng sasakupin.

Dumaan naman ako sa SG e-Room na hawak ng Dangerous (SG). Name pa lang ng gang, nakakatakot na! Pilit na pinasok ng SG-EmPIRE` (SG), KILABOTZ (Px) at Saints (Px) ang e-room pero matatag talaga ang Dangerous (SG). Itinaas nila ang bandila ng SG school at pinatunayang ang bumangga sa Dangerous ay hindi makakalabas nang buhay sa e-room! Ikaw ba naman ang sugurin ng mamaw archers ng SG, mapapa- ouch ka talaga!

Lumipat naman ako sa MP e-room na pinaghaharian ng MP`ImOrTaL sa mahabang panahon. Sa simula ay pilit na inagaw ng VG`eLiTe` (MP) at -=LORDS=-(Px) ang e-room pero bigla itong nasakop ng Royal gang! Pero di naglaon ay nabawi ng MP`ImOrTaL(MP). Himala nga at may sumugod sa e-room na ito! Kadalasan kasi ay nilalangaw na lang ang e-room dahil walang nagtatangkang pumasok.

Pagkatapos ay pumasok ako sa TH e-Room na dating pagmamay ari ng mP-ImOrtaL (MP). Grabe, nag-uumapaw sa dami ang mga sumugod sa e-room na itetch! Parang bolang pinagpasa-pasahan ng iba’t ibang gangs ang e-Room! Masyadong madugo sa dami nang mga dumafa at ramdam mo ang napakalakas na pwersa na bumabalot sa e-room. Sobrang nagkakainitan sa loob ang Saints(Px), KILABOTZ(Px), Hi`KePZz—(SG), at mP-ImOrtaL (MP). Nasakop ng Hi`KePZz— (SG) ang e-room. Nadepensahan nila ito nang matagal ngunit na-prove pa rin ng mP-ImOrtaL(MP) na mas malakas sila. Hindi kaya chambalero lang talaga sila? Ginulat nila ang Tala dahil two e-rooms na naman ang nakuha ng astig na gang na ito!

Sa mga hindi nakasakop , better luck next time. Try and try until you die este succeed. ^_^V Huwag kalimutang magbaon ng napakaraming PUMax! Hanggang sa susunod na Club Wars! Kitakits ulit sa loob ng e-room! ^_~
